DELIVERY PARTNER AGREEMENT
(lala-runner Agreement)

This Delivery Partner Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into by and between food-lala, a food ordering and delivery platform operated by Hashbox Dynamix LLP (“Company”), and the individual or entity registering as a delivery partner (“Delivery Partner” or “lala-runner”).

By registering as a Delivery Partner on food-lala, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 Company – Refers to Hashbox Dynamix LLP, the operator of the food-lala platform.
1.2 Delivery Partner (lala-runner) – An individual or entity providing food delivery services through the food-lala platform.
1.3 Customer – An individual who places an order via the food-lala platform.
1.4 Vendor – A food business registered on food-lala to sell food items.
1.5 Platform – The food-lala website and mobile application.

2. ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

2.1 The Delivery Partner must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driving license for the vehicle used for deliveries.
2.2 The Delivery Partner must own or have legal access to a motorcycle, car, or bicycle suitable for food delivery.
2.3 Registration requires the submission of valid personal identification, vehicle registration, and bank account details for payment processing.
2.4 The Company reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.

3. OBLIGATIONS OF DELIVERY PARTNERS

3.1 The Delivery Partner shall accept and complete delivery assignments in a timely and professional manner.
3.2 The Delivery Partner shall maintain food quality and safety during transportation and use appropriate delivery bags as required.
3.3 The Delivery Partner shall be responsible for ensuring that the delivered items match the order details.
3.4 The Delivery Partner shall be courteous, professional, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
3.5 The Delivery Partner shall comply with all applicable laws, traffic regulations, and safety standards while performing deliveries.
3.6 The Delivery Partner shall not engage in fraudulent activities, including but not limited to order tampering, unauthorized charges, or misrepresentation.

4. SERVICE FEES & PAYMENTS

4.1 The Delivery Partner will earn delivery fees per completed order as determined by the Company’s Service Fee and Commission Policy. (Including Schedule of Rates for lala-runners).

4.2 lala-runners earn a delivery fee for each order fulfilled. The standard fee is determined based on distance at the rate based on each zone in The Schedule of Rates for lala-runners.

4.3 A platform service fee of up to 20% may be deducted from the total earnings of lala-runners.

4.4 Payments shall be made on a weekly basis, on Friday beginning 10.00pm subject to a minimum payout threshold.
4.5 The Company reserves the right to deduct penalties, refunds, or adjustments from earnings in cases of non-compliance or disputes.
4.6 The Delivery Partner is responsible for declaring income and complying with relevant tax regulations.

5. ORDER CANCELLATION & LIABILITY

5.1 If a Customer cancels an order after pickup, the Delivery Partner must follow the refund and cancellation policy guidelines.
5.2 In cases of failed delivery due to incorrect addresses or unavailability of the Customer, the Delivery Partner must contact food-lala support for further instructions.
5.3 The Delivery Partner is responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged orders in their possession and may be required to compensate for such losses.

6. CONDUCT & COMPLIANCE

6.1 The Delivery Partner must not harass, threaten, or harm Customers, Vendors, or other Delivery Partners.
6.2 The use of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances while on duty is strictly prohibited.
6.3 The Delivery Partner must adhere to food-lala’s Community Guidelines and follow the platform’s policies at all times.

7. TERMINATION & SUSPENSION

7.1 The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Delivery Partner’s account for violations of this Agreement or food-lala policies.
7.2 The Delivery Partner may voluntarily terminate their participation by providing a written notice to the Company.
7.3 Any pending earnings shall be processed within the next scheduled payout cycle following termination, subject to deductions for penalties or outstanding disputes.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 The Company provides the food-lala platform on an “as-is” basis and does not guarantee the availability of orders.
8.2 The Company shall not be liable for any losses, injuries, or damages incurred by the Delivery Partner during the course of service.
8.3 The Delivery Partner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against claims arising from their service performance.

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

9.1 Any disputes between the Delivery Partner and the Company shall be resolved amicably through customer support channels.
9.2 If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration or mediation as per the laws of Malaysia.

10. AMENDMENTS

10.1 The Company reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time, and the Delivery Partner shall be notified of such changes.
10.2 Continued use of the food-lala platform after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

By registering as a Delivery Partner with food-lala, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms of this Agreement.

Delivery Partner (lala-runner) Policy

  1. Introduction This Delivery Partner (lala-runner) Policy outlines the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of individuals registering as delivery partners (lala-runners) with food-lala, a business operated by Hashbox Dynamix LLP, a company registered under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). By joining food-lala as a delivery partner, you agree to comply with the terms set forth in this policy.
  2. Eligibility Criteria To qualify as a lala-runner, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid Malaysian identity card (MyKad).
  • Have a valid motorcycle or vehicle driving license (if applicable).
  • Own or have access to a registered and roadworthy vehicle for deliveries.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle insurance policy (if applicable).
  • Own a smartphone with internet access to use the food-lala delivery app.
  • Pass the verification and screening process by food-lala.
  1. Registration Process To become a lala-runner, you must:
  • Submit an online application via the food-lala platform.
  • Provide necessary documents including MyKad, driving license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
  • Attend a mandatory onboarding session or training (if required).
  • Agree to the terms and conditions of food-lala’s Delivery Partner Agreement.
  1. Roles and Responsibilities As a lala-runner, you are responsible for:
  • Accepting and completing assigned delivery orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring the safe handling and transport of food and beverages.
  • Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness when handling deliveries.
  • Following traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Promptly reporting any issues related to deliveries to food-lala’s support team.
  1. Service Standards
  • Punctuality: lala-runners must adhere to the estimated delivery time provided by the system.
  • Communication: Any delays or issues must be promptly communicated to food-lala and customers.
  • Professional Conduct: lala-runners must behave respectfully and avoid any misconduct.
  • Compliance: All deliveries must be completed following the food-lala platform guidelines.
  1. Earnings and Payment
  • lala-runners will earn delivery fees and incentives as per food-lala’s commission structure.
  • Payments will be made on a weekly basis via the preferred payment method.
  • Any deductions, such as penalties for violations, will be clearly stated in payment summaries.
  1. Code of Conduct and Compliance lala-runners must adhere to the following:
  • Respect customers, vendors, and fellow delivery partners.
  • Refrain from engaging in any fraudulent activities.
  • Not misuse or manipulate the food-lala platform for personal gains.
  • Follow all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations while performing deliveries.
  1. Safety and Security
  • lala-runners must wear a helmet (for motorcycle riders) and adhere to road safety rules.
  • lala-runners must not consume alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances while on duty.
  • lala-runners should report any accidents or safety incidents to food-lala immediately.
  1. Suspension and Termination food-lala reserves the right to suspend or terminate a lala-runner’s account under the following circumstances:
  • Repeated failure to complete deliveries on time.
  • Receiving multiple complaints from customers or vendors.
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities or misconduct.
  • Violating traffic laws or causing harm to others.
  • Breaching any terms outlined in this policy.
  1. Amendments to the Policy food-lala reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Lala-runners will be notified of any significant changes through the food-lala platform.

Vehicle and Equipment Policy for Delivery Partners (lala-runners)

  1. Purpose


This Vehicle and Equipment Policy outlines the requirements and standards for all Delivery Partners (lala-runners) registered under food-lala. Compliance with this policy ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery services for customers and food vendors (lala-shops).

  1. Vehicle Requirements


2.1. All lala-runners must have a roadworthy and well-maintained vehicle (motorcycle, bicycle, car, or other approved transport) suitable for food delivery.
2.2. The vehicle must be registered under the lala-runner’s name or with documented permission from the registered owner.
2.3. lala-runners must comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, including valid road tax, insurance, and driving licenses.
2.4. Motorcycles used for deliveries must have working headlights, brake lights, indicators, and properly inflated tires for safe operation.
2.5. Vehicles must be kept clean and in good condition to maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
2.6. lala-runners must not use illegal or unsafe vehicles for deliveries. Failure to meet vehicle requirements may result in temporary suspension or permanent deactivation.

  1. Equipment Requirements


3.1. lala-runners are required to use an insulated delivery bag provided or approved by food-lala to maintain food temperature and quality.
3.2. Delivery bags must be kept clean, odor-free, and free from contaminants.
3.3. If additional equipment such as helmets, gloves, or raincoats is needed for safe deliveries, lala-runners must ensure they are in good condition.
3.4. lala-runners are responsible for the cost of maintaining their delivery equipment. Damaged or improper equipment may lead to warnings, suspension, or removal from the platform.

  1. Compliance and Inspections


4.1. food-lala reserves the right to conduct random checks to ensure compliance with this policy.
4.2. Any lala-runner found using non-compliant vehicles or equipment may be subject to penalties, suspension, or removal from the platform.
4.3. lala-runners must immediately report any vehicle breakdowns or equipment failures that could affect their delivery performance.

  1. Safety and Liability


5.1. lala-runners must always prioritize safety while on the road and follow traffic laws and regulations.
5.2. food-lala is not responsible for any accidents, damages, or losses incurred due to vehicle malfunctions or improper equipment use.
5.3. lala-runners are encouraged to obtain personal insurance coverage for accidents and third-party liabilities.

  1. Policy Violations


6.1. Non-compliance with this policy may result in the following actions:

  • First Violation: Warning and compliance notice
  • Second Violation: Temporary suspension
  • Third Violation: Permanent removal from the platform

6.2. food-lala reserves the right to update this policy as needed. Lala-runners will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated policy.

    This Insurance & Liability Policy outlines the responsibilities, coverage, and limitations related to insurance and liability for Delivery Partners (lala-runners) registered under the food-lala platform. As independent contractors, lala-runners are required to adhere to this policy to ensure compliance with food-lala’s operational standards and mitigate risks associated with delivery services.
  2. Insurance Coverage
    food-lala does not provide insurance coverage for its lala-runners. Delivery Partners are responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage, including but not limited to:
  • Personal Accident Insurance: To cover medical expenses, disability, or death resulting from accidents while performing delivery duties.
  • Third-Party Liability Insurance: To cover damages or injuries caused to third parties (e.g., pedestrians, customers, vendors) during the course of delivery.
  • Motor Vehicle Insurance: Comprehensive or third-party vehicle insurance as per Malaysian road traffic laws.

lala-runners are strongly encouraged to ensure that their insurance policies are valid and up to date to avoid financial burdens in case of accidents or unforeseen incidents.

  1. Liability Disclaimer
  • food-lala shall not be held liable for any personal injuries, vehicle damages, theft, loss of earnings, or medical costs incurred by lala-runners while performing delivery tasks.
  • lala-runners acknowledge and accept that they are performing their duties as independent contractors and not as employees of food-lala.
  • Any claims arising from third-party accidents or incidents shall be solely managed between the lala-runner and the respective parties involved.
  1. Safety Compliance
    To minimize risks, all lala-runners must:
  • Wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets (for motorcyclists), reflective vests, and gloves when necessary.
  • Follow road safety regulations and traffic laws at all times.
  • Maintain their vehicles in safe operating condition.
  • Avoid reckless or dangerous driving that may endanger themselves or others.

Failure to comply with safety guidelines may result in the suspension or termination of the lala-runner’s account on food-lala.

  1. Incident Reporting and Claims
    In the event of an accident or dispute, lala-runners must:
  • Report any accidents or injuries occurring during deliveries to food-lala within 24 hours.
  • Contact the necessary emergency services and file a police report if required.
  • Cooperate with authorities, insurance providers, and other involved parties when processing claims.
  • Submit any relevant documentation, including photos, medical reports, and insurance claim details, as evidence.
  1. Theft, Loss, and Damage
  • lala-runners are responsible for the safety and security of the food orders during transit.
  • In case of theft, loss, or damage to an order, the lala-runner must report the incident immediately to food-lala support and the respective vendor.
  • Compensation for lost or damaged orders shall be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and lala-runners may be required to cover the cost depending on the circumstances.
  1. Termination of Agreement
    food-lala reserves the right to terminate a lala-runner’s registration under the following conditions:
  • Failure to maintain valid insurance coverage.
  • Involvement in repeated accidents or reckless driving behavior.
  • Failure to comply with safety guidelines and liability requirements.
  • Non-compliance with reporting procedures for incidents and claims.
  1. Acknowledgment and Agreement
    By signing up as a lala-runner with food-lala, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the Insurance & Liability Policy outlined above. You accept full responsibility for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage and for any liability arising from your delivery activities.
